Would you like to work with me?
I welcome collaboration for public health & would love to hear from you
It is my opinion that today's conventional health care system miss out on a few pieces in the prevention & treatment of physical & mental health issues. Two of these are somatic practices & a holistic approach. This is what I specialize in, & what I am passionate about teaching others.
It is my strong belief that, by incorporating integrative work with the body, mind, soul, & biology, we can significantly improve public health & make our world a better place.

I am a certified teacher in Trauma Adapted Yoga (TAY-300), with a particular focus on trauma, ADHD, & common comorbidities. TAY is an evidence-based form of yoga designed to support & complement conventional healthcare for mental health issues & common psychiatric disorders. It is based on trauma research, neurobiology, evidence-based yoga therapy, & body-oriented methods, & has been developed in collaboration with leading researchers & experts within these fields. The method is a Swedish adaptation of trauma-informed yoga, originally developed to address the needs of individuals with complex trauma & PTSD. I aim at offering Trauma Adapted Yoga within the conventional health care system, & as a complement to it.
I am also a Biology of Trauma® Professional in training. The Biology of Trauma® is a science-based model developed by Dr. Aimie Apigian. It provides a comprehensive, holistic framework to strategically & efficiently address stored trauma in the body, & as a result accelerate the trauma healing journey. This framework bridges the two worlds of functional medicine & trauma therapy by providing the missing piece to most modalities & therapies. Without addressing the biology piece, most trauma work remains insufficient. The model also incorporates advanced somatic & parts work (originating from evidence-based trauma treatments & therapies such as Somatic Experiencing®, NeuroAffective Touch® & Internal Family Systems®) to address other emotional, psychological, & physiological aspects of stored trauma. This work integrates body, mind, & biology, with a particular focus on the nervous system.
